  1. If you can afford it go for it! I've spent 250 on one single lure a couple times! And lost a few really high end baits! But like others have said plan to lose a bait the day you buy it.
  2. Standard jig hook
  3. i have caught fish on swimbaits up to 11" and some of those fish have been only 16" long themselves! I think bass will hit baits up to 16" if presented properly.
  4. That's a lot of faith in that knot.
  5. I suppose I rig mine tex skinned then
  6. A swimbait like a Little Dipper or sassy shad on a jig head seems to do the trick for me jig head weight varies based on current
  7. Yum made these a while back but have been discontinued
  8. It's been tough... All of my daytime fish have come on jigs around bigger shady docks or flipping and pitching into shady nasty cover in deeper coves. At night they're everywhere eating everything.
  9. The line might not be ideal, as copolymer sinks, which might effect the action but other than that you should be fine.
  10. Seminole is on fire this year! Went in April and had 18 lbs in the boat before lunch. Also hooked a 6' gator.
  11. 12-14 on average but 18 lb sack isn't unheard of
  12. Caught most of my bass over 5lbs between 11am & 4 pm and after sunset-around 1 am
  13. It helps to know Scott or whit or a few guys who are friends with them. Just got a nezumma mouse from them. I also got a stubby cut tail that is super sick!
  14. Savage gear will be making waves this year with several new products
  15. Not really expensive in the realm of swimbaits
  16. Bass generally get shallow to feed at night. My 2 favorite night baits are a big jig with big trailer black and blue, a wake bait like a bomber long A or red fin
  17. If I'm going to fish weightless the original senko is the way to go. If im fishing weighted wacky any other stick bait can work but I prefer yum fingers or strike King shim e sticks
  18. Conventional tackle Black and blue flipping jig Wacky rig stick bait Fluke weightless Big baits Deps 250 Mattlures hardgill Fatback herring
  19. I like Vmc flipping hooks they are sticky sharp and really stout! Haven't bent one out yet on 65 lb braid. Plus the needle point style barb doesn't tear up baits as quickly at Trokars or owner imo
  20. Agreed. They let the media and lebron get in their heads. The way they played you would think it was the 1st time they ever played together. Lots of self inflicted wounds didn't help em either.
  21. Sounds like in fisherman or North American fisherman mags
  22. meltdown dawn? Yea he's a pretty big crybaby about his spots. I look at it like this, every spot you find on a body of water has been found before you or will be after you leave. Just cause a person knows your spots doesn't mean they're gonna bite for you or them.
  23. Just a sunfish guys! Getting tossed back into the water isn't any worse than being bounced around in a live well all day. Bass are a lot tougher than people think.
  24. Agreed^ works well on a shakey head
