xps makes a good one its almost exactly like the kvd 2.5 with cheaper hooks pumpkinseed and shad do it for me or any of the bomber square A series ive found that smaller work best in spring and the larger are better in fall

some of my best number days have been pre, during and post rain periods. My first LM over 5lbs came during a heavy rain in may on a black 10" culprit worm. It was raining so hard i couldnt see the end of the boat dock (about 10 foot away!) but from personal experience ive always done better before and during. dont get me wrong ive still caught em after rain just seems like they bite more eagerly prior to or during rain.

here in west georgia its rare, but if we have an early spring and it stays mild weather till may or june. i have caught bass bedding almost till july, but it may just be one big long spawn tho

thanks for the advice i just finished priming it and i used rustoleum self etching primer will start sanding end of this week and prep for top coat do they sell clear coat in rattle cans?

thanks for the warm welcome guys. and top dog as of late its not been very pleasant fishing here its hot water is way low and the summer lakers with their ski boats and jetskis make it impossible to fish the deep water patterns that are producing big fish. ive been fishing the river more until september when the fall bite starts picking up.

good deal i might try that i have access to a laser cutter at my job thinking of using it to cut some stencils to paint a pretty realistic camo pattern on mine. ill definately be using the rustoleum paint i've heard nothing but good things about it

tinboats.net is a great resource for aluminum boat mods. the guys on there are really helpful. i suggest doing the mod yourself to save money and its also really fun im doing one myself now
