  6. Live bait seems to be the best bet on tge lake. Bass shiners it wild caught shad work best.
  7. Sassy shad 4" on 1/4-1/2 oz baits. Fish wehadkee creek or maple creek or the railroad trestle area for best results. Birds will tip you off but not always productive. I fish the river below West Point this time of year for stripers. They are bigger there. The generation schedule dictates their feeding habits but if they're moving water they'll be biting.
  8. Matt Allen on any lake he wants. Would love to get on some of those spotted bass he's been posting on FB. Or 2nd choice paul Bailey on clearlake
  9. Black spro popping frog has caught me more fish than all my other frogs combined

  11. Havoc has taken front seat for most all my plastics now. Still use zoom craws and flukes tho
  12. If I do trap hook a hudd I use 7 strand and rig it right behind the dorsal fin on top . Bottom trap hooks kill fish. Bought a 8" hudd 2nd hand and killed the first bass I hooked. She choked it and trap hook ripped her gills to pieces
  13. Buy yourself a double layer 4 pistol Plano case for 14.95 it will hold a lot of swimbaits and they will not budge
  14. Are you talking big swimbaits 6" and bigger that weigh 2oz or more?
  15. i like to throw swimbaits at those spots in lanier. any smaller herring imitator around boat docks works well for me year round there.
  16. i have caught several fish here in georgia with the same coloration on lower jaw. caught some upwards of 3 lbs with the coloration. Dont think it has anything to do with spawn as most of the fish i caught were well past post spawn and into august and early september
  17. awesome! any tips on what to throw for reds? im getting my tackle together tonight and will be heading down tuesday morning. hoping to get a few on big swimbaits!
  18. 2.32 here in lagrange ga
  19. Never seen a trout in my home lake but bass 2.5lbs and up still hit the 8" hudd in rainbow. I would suggest starting with the 6" or 68 and working those for a while and see how the fish react. Lots of different color schemes on those models. imo rof 5 is the most versatile
  20. Would love to know from where? Pm me if you don't want to disclose it publicly I have one and would love to get another
