  1. I used to fish it quite a bit. here on west point lake in west ga. the spots used to hit them pretty good in the early mornings
  2. If you don't want them ill take em off your hands.. they're inndividualky painted by one person i think grant is his name so there will be some difference in paint also a ghost bluegill looks different than the original gill color
  3. Would be a recipe for a dumped boat on the road or at the ramp. keep it tight!
  4. Great in theory but wat happens when you hook into the bass of a lifetime and he makes a run at the boat and bend out the rings designed to do just that?
  5. Lol leavebthe spot immediately after the first follow come back in a few hours and hit it again from farther back away from the spot or a different angle that usually helps me get allot of fish to commit after they've folowed.
  6. Bought both.... never caught a fish on either one. the 6" version has a wider walk of the two.
  7. dunno if its a secret or not but in dirtier water i take a worm rattle or two and glue them into the tail. is deadly in hudds and the 316 rising sons. just a little extra noise too help the fish find thhe bait

Mattlures is the best soft bluegill and his hatdgill is awesome too but hard to find. blackdogbaits has an affordable one the g2 shellcracker. and cl8 bait bluegill is affordable and catches fish
  9. I've been twice this year and probably won't go back before season closes.
  10. Glad you're stickin some man I'm in a slump. I've got close too 50 followers but no takers since april 1st
  11. I'm on a swimbait slump right now so far since april 1st I've had approximately 46 follows and 3 tail strikes no hook ups. may get out the conventional gear and hit some blowdowns and docks to remember what it feels like to catch a fish
  12. That guy apparently hasn't seen the bass and stripers guys are catching out of the delta recently
  13. Ill try and get some vids and pics of mine. up tommorro
  14. I own the 128t i love it. i put a trolling motor.on mine similar to the bass yak system and installed a lowranc hdi unit. fishes big resevoirs and rivers like a champ. i can stand and fish all day. I can almost walk on the deck. it is a bit slower than other yaks but that's the tradeoff for the stabilty. love the seat on it also. super comfy. plenty of storage also. only thing i don't like about it is its weight. its a tank to handle by myself. so i bought an old jetski trailer for cheap on craigslist. makes it effortless to get on the water now.
  15. I hate giving money away so unless I've got somepretty good patterns i don't enter
  16. hey jd welcome aboard. i too have a 128t loving it i fish west point and the chattahoochee but have fished eufalah also but not outta my yak too afraid of the gators.
  17. I'm thinkin 8lb 14oz
  18. Hudds get bit for me here and I've never seen or heard of any trout on my home lake in west ga. just another fish smaller than the bass that looks like an easy carefree meal to larger bass

  20. The hookset is important best advice i can give from my experience is a reeling sweep. after that there is no grace in fighting the fish i winch them in as fast as possible and net them. a jig hook on a hudd is easily thrown unless its back in their crushers.
  21. I get odd looks from the bucket fisherman and bass guys alike when they see my 8" hudd or other big baits. they often ask what I'm trying to catch with a big lure like that. then laugh when i tell them bass. I've silenced one or two last year and then they ask where i got the lure? I just tell them to check walmart.
  22. yea man i started to pm you and see what you had goinnng on but we ended up taking my FIL's boat. fished cowikee creek it was muddy but the punching/flipping bite was good
  23. you can buy a bb saiko trout (box only , no swimbait) for $222 right now lol
