I think I joined this wonderful site in 2008, it is by far the best ! I always read and never posted and for whatever reason I decided to start .

I have been addicted to fishing since the age of 5, and I will be 45 in April. I also love to hunt deer and turkey

    I appreciate the warm welcome and was reminded by FlipnLimits I never said what I liked to catch. I am a bass fisherman targeting both smallmouth and largemouth.

    I grew up fishing the three rivers of Pittsburgh for smallmouth , primarily on the Monongahela river. I belong to a bass club and have known my fishing partner for over 30 years. I am also fortunate to be able to fish Lake Erie where a 5 lb smallie is pretty common.

    If there is a prize for longest lurker before a post, I will take one of those " outdated"  G Loomis rods in  844 IMX :cup-006:
