Anybody In Central Va?

Featured Replies

Hey yall im a fellow bass fisher in Culpeper, VA. Been a guest on this forum for a while and decided to make a account. A lot of good people and information. Anybody else out there in Central VA?

Lot's of folks from VA on here.  I'm from Culpeper also.  Have been spending most of our trips on Anna lately but my son, also on here was on Pelham today.  If you see a Red Stratos on Pelham it will be either my son or I.

I'm relatively new here..I live in Fluvanna County and fish Lake Orange, Sandy River, and Briery frequently.I fished lake orange today and ended up with 5 bass...5+ was the largest and 3# was the smallest.

Where do you all fish mostly?

I sold my boat a couple months back because i was in a tight spot so i am limited to where and what i can fish. I dont travel to Anna much at all, just staying local at Mountain Run and Pelham. Mountain run isnt the best, but you gotta know the spots where they hang. Gonna hit the banks today and see what i run in to.

Richmond-area here.

I checked the weather and saw it's supposed to be near 80 tomorrow so I'm taking the day off. Can't wait.

Mechanicsville, VA here (a few miles NE of Richmond).

N Dinwiddie here

Fish Lake Chesdin and Appomattox River primarily

Louisa va here. I went out on Anna today. No bites but I had a blast. A real good guy offered a seat on his boat for the day. Its always fun to meet somebody new and learn from them. There's plenty of fish to be caught in VA. but my problem is, there always in somebody else's livewell. Ha ha
