Anyone like primitive weapons?

Horsebows and long bows. If those count. Maces and flails. A maul is always a good choice.

My wife and I have an affinity towards Native American artifacts.  We have a few very old primitive weapons.

do knives count,they have been around a loooong time..

I killed a deer with a Louisville slugger once. It's made from a tree does that count?

I really want to try an Atlatl. I think they would be fun. Probably just target practice, not for hunting.

I bought one of these last year and have an absolute blast with it. It is really easy to pick up also. I just throw it into my bow target. My neighbors surely wonder what type of person moved in next door. 

Been looking at getting back into archery(used to compete in local 4H then college) with a longbow.  I've been shopping around, but my monkey arms make finding a draw long enough a challenge.

 

And of course knives and samurai swords, who doesn't have a bunch of those lying around?

I bet they won't bother you after seeing that. If you really want to make think you're crazy, build a siege tower to peek in their windows with. Or maybe stand out in the back yard throwing that thing in full dress armor and helm.

i built a wooden stands for cutting mats...i made 3 different heights..went out in a white cotten robe and one  of my practical Katanas and did cutting drills for a few hours...lol..my next door neigbhors are a kindegarden teacher and a retired Korean lady....next time the saw my wife they were asking her if i was okay..

 

it was great.the wife came in the door asking me what the hell was i doing...
