when the water is still pretty chilly, instead of pitchin a jig all day, has anyone tried a senko fished VERY slowly.... its kind of a lazy bait anyway... seems like it may work to me???

I had great luck pre-spawn last year with my SK Zeros.

I've yet to find the time when a Senko won't work. Maybe not always the best choice, but never a bad choice.

I've fished them really early on a shakey head to get a slower fall with a subtle and bulky bait and done really well. If it's calm you can fish them texas rigged weightless and drag them along the bottom but I don't have the patience for doing that.
