Aftermarket Cork Handle Knobs For Casting Reels?

Featured Replies

Hey, all.  First post here...I was recently checking out the new *** *** reel, and I really love the look of the cork handle knobs.  I have some Lew's casting reels that I really love, and was wondering if there were any companies that make aftermarket cork handle knobs for casting reels?

Would love to update the look of my gear if possible.  Has anyone seen anything like this?  Google searches are turning up blank for the most part.

Thanks!

HAwgtech does and they are a site sponsor.

Daiwa has aftermarket cork knobs for their reels; the catch here is that not all reels can accept cork knobs, only those where the knobs are attached to the handle via a screw.

Hawgtech sells a complete handle with cork knobs but other then that route I don't think there are aftermarket cork knobs by themselves that will fit your Lews reels.

Hawgtech does it right and does it well. I have 5 handles from them and they're all fantastic.

Lews have a screw. The only problem is every company has a different length or diameter post. Daiwa knobs won't fit a Lews or abu, ect.

I believe Daiwa handles fit lews. You could buy a daiwa handle, put cork knobs on that and then put it in your lews reel

Yes the Daiwa handle will fit a Lews.

Thanks for all the information folks!  Looking at the prices, I think I'd be better off just getting the *** reel (for the money I'd have to spend to put cork on my lew's), or just give up on the idea altogether. I was thinking if cork handles were like 20-30 bucks, and I could replace just those I would.

I appreciate all the input!
