If you buy a Dobyns rod from a retailer between October 2013 and June 2014 you are eligible for 40% coalition Weapon rods which retail for 200.00! They are discounting the series.

If I wanted one, I would wait until they are marked down 40% without having to buy another rod first.  That isn't a deal for me personally.  Might be for anyone planning on purchasing one of their other rods.

 

EDIT:  Was at Dick's today.  Buy one get second for 50% off on Tec-Lite, Tech Spec and Tech Spec Elite.  Maybe I only want one rod.

Wasn't knocking your post....only when companies force you to buy 2 of their rods in order to receive a discount.  I would prefer to see a 20% discount per rod for those of us who only want one rod or who can only afford one rod at that time.  It is a decent deal for those wanting 2 Dobyns rods and who don't care if one of them is the Coalition Weapon.

I thought the Coalition was just on the market last year?  Why are they discontinuing so fast? 

Its at that awkward price point with the savvy being 20$ less and a comparable performance and the champion being 20-40$ more with a much better blank. I think they were giving them away for free at the classic if you bought any rod there as well.
