Reaction Baits Around Snaggy Cedar Trees.

Featured Replies

Any suggestions, I was thinking spinner bait if they are active.

Spinner bait or chatterbait would be my top choice or square bill crank

I read that a chatterbait with a swimbait instead of a skirt and twin tail trailer is a beast of a Reaction bait in the Spring

The water temp would make a huge diffrence in the selection of baits for me. On the colder side I would use the Chatterbait, or slow rolled spinnerbaits. On the warmer side the ever faithful Swim jig, and spinner baits (with wind), squarebill crank (no wind).

I've got a bait for you!  :eyebrows:

A heavy jig can be a good reaction bait to toss right into the middle of the trees. A hollow belly swimbait on a keel weighted hook can be good. Running wakebaits or walk the dog baits around the edges works really well sometimes. This time of year a spinnerbait, bladed jig, or jerkbait if there's room.
