Saw these online and am pondering the idea of putting one on my jon boat. I feel like it would be good to troll around and stop on whatever cover I want and flip it a few times. Anyone try it yet? Is it worth the nearly $700?

Certainly not a bad idea. They work on something as small as a kayak all the way up to small bass boats. If it's worth it depends on how you fish.  

I wish they had those back when I was fishing out of my car-topper.  Seemed like every puff of wind would try to skate me across the lake at mach 90.  Those boats are so light with no draft that they're at the mercy of the wind.  The Micro Power-Pole seems like a long overdue and much-needed piece of equipment.

Ive thought about getting one for my seaeagle fpb ,since I mostly fish small lakes and bigger ponds .. 

Mine is on order already - can't wait to install it on my Hobie Pro Angler!  I've seen it up close and in action - pure awesomeness!  Silent and lightweight.

$700! yikes. I just stick an old ski pole through a scupper hole.

if i owned a  jon boat i would install one.
