What Is Your Most Successful Use Style With A Senko? Texas Rigged, Wacky, Texas Rigged Weighted, Other?

Texas rigged weightless, sometimes wacky but I prefer the weedless way because I fish lakes with a lot of weeds and grass.

I am starting to use the swim senkos more than anything, just gives you the extra action no matter how you fish it. Just use a swimbait hook, jig, swim, and sometimes I well throw them on a wacky rig. That tail action moving when you jig it. I bet on a C rig it would work nice.

Interesting....I decided last weekend that I'm done with swim senko's altogether.  Bought the big kit and haven't had a single bite - any color, any presentation, any waters.  I'm a fan of the worms still -- but they've lost a lot of ground lately in my opinion...to the Rage Cut-R.

I still use a lot of senko worms.  I'd guess it's about:

10% Wacky

40% T, weightless

50% T, smallest bullet I can get away with depending on conditions

When you say T rig a Senko do you mean a regular stick Senko or a ribbon tail Senko?

Never mind didn't think I needed to check the pics on the first post.

Wacky by far, but I use other techniques -- and no O rings, either. I'll use shrink wrap tubing sometimes...

Weedless, weightless, wacky...did I say that right? Lol

I rarely use a senko but when i do i usually fish it weightless or texas

40% of the time I'm fishing I'm throwing a weightless senko. It works great texas rigged too.

I'm pretty sure that however you can attach a senko to a hook, it will catch fish.

Weightless T-Rig is the most productive then Whacky.

I use it wacky most of the time with no O ring. I just have never done as well with an O ring then without. I will t-rig around weeds and pads.

If anyone wants a senko that the tail floats on a shakey head or Carolina rig you should check out the one's for sale on ebay by kirknhollie. His senko's actually float, so they don't work weightless but are great for any weighted application. His baits are super soft and he will make any color you want, and they are much cheaper than real senko's. Just make sure you ask him for the baits that float as he also makes a bait that sinks. If you email him tell him Chris from Canada recommended these baits, thanks Chris.

Why is that?
