Ok so I have been collecting all the debris aka slag in a coffee can before melting lead. What can I do with that stuff there is lead mixed in with it so not sure how to get rid of it safely?

    Take it to a local scrap shop, won't be worth much as it's a contaminated item, but they should be able to at least take it off your hands.  Once the item gets to a lead smelter the contaminates will be removed.  Safest way I can think of is having it recycled.
