Y U M Houdini Shad

Lots of talk about flukes right now, I know some of the guys and gals

on the RoadTrip were pitching them. A couple of years ago ghoti introduced

me to the Houdini Shad on the Tennessee River. The profile is similar to

other flukes, but the action is very different. Give them a shot and I suspect

they will become your "go-to" bait in this lure category!

I have had good success with them , tried them with the  double fluke rig from  gene on here just as something I saw on one of his videos .  Tried them on a river near a bridge and  rip rap . I found a new friend for aggressive spotted bass.

That double rig is THE BOMB!

Always felt like the YUM bait glides further than a fluke. Seems to get more bites for me and you can modify the tail to get different action and fall rates.

There's a pre-notched diamond in the tail you can cut out. You can cut a "V" in the tail or cut it so it's straight like a thin whip tail.

OK thanks
