Help Me Pick A 2Nd Crankbait Rod

Featured Replies

i already own a powell diesel glass rod ive got a citica on it and i just picked up a curado 200e5 i need a rod for. didnt really need the reel but i couldnt say no. what is a good crankbait rod that might can handle some different weight lures than the diesel?

What is the power and action of the Powell?

For around $120 you can look at the St. Croix Mojo Bass glass rods.

Denali Kovert or Denali Rosewood

Don't know the power of you Powel but would get the other in the Avid MHM or MM, whichever weight your Powell isn't. If you do plan on getting both in the Avid, most that use them agree, awful hard to beat!    :thumbsup3:

I agree.  The Avid AVC70MM is a GREAT crankbait rod!
