Charger Is Acting Weird

Featured Replies

We have a 3 bank charger in our Ranger, banks 2 and 3 are working but number 1 isnt showing a reading. All fuses are working. Do yall have any ideas?

Thanks,

might have dropped a bank.

I would have it checked out before plugging it up again.......don't want to burn the boat or house down.

I agree with Brian. I had a bad bank smoke a battery. Some battery chargers have diagnostic light codes that blink and Dual Pros are serviceable. Most other brands are pretty much disposable.

I got a BPS dual bank charger that just stopped working.  I cant seem to find a fuse port on the external cover, do I need to open it up to find it or just replace the unit?

Chargers don't last forever.  I fish alot, so I usually have one bank die after about 3-4 years.  You can't fix it, you just have to replace the whole unit.
