megabass vision 110

Featured Replies

Lately, for whatever reason, they seem to be working better than the other jerkbaits in this neck of the woods.

Shh...

Still Top Secret

Don't mention the PopMax either!

Definitely not!   8-)

I have a buddy that fishes the FLW tour and various other tournaments around the country and he has about $600-$700 tied up in Megabass jerkbaits.  He swears by them and he has done quite well for himself fishing so I will take his word for it.  Might be something I'll look into buying this year but at $25-$30 a pop it is hard to buy many for me.  I will be buying some though just judging by my friends love for them and seeing him catching fish on them when nothing else seems to be working. Just hope I don't lose one ;)

Keep an eye out on ebay for them. I got 2 of them, without hooks, for $25, a great deal. I also found a brand new pop max for $18, another great deal.

I just bought 2, on the advise of a bunch of other guys who swear by them. They sure ain't cheap, so they better work.

Actually, they are cheaper now ($23) than they were originally ($28).

I don't think you will be disappointed.

Megawhat? There's no such thing. It's all made up. I've never caught a fish on a Vision 110, particularly in the GG Mossback Golden Shad.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I'm gonna miss my Popmax. I had one that had been custom painted, it was close to the GG Peacock, but a lot "sharper". I lost it to a muskie late last year. Almost had the little bugger in the boat, too.

Finally used my 110 last week, 50 degree water, caught several fish on it and had a few that just wouldn't commit. It will definitely see more use!!

Yep, they are good baits. Maybe not the best thing since sliced bread... but very good. Bass just seem to like the restrained action and they cast a mile. There are some less expensive jerkbaits with similar action, like the Smithwick Suspending Rogues, but the 110's have both the action and knock-out nice finish.

Best jerkbait ever. Period.
