Looking For A Rod

Featured Replies

Im looking for a rod with cork, full or split 7' Med Heavy in the 100-200 dollar range whats some good options?

There are about 200 choices that fit that criteria. Care to add any other personal preferences to narrow it down further?

If that's all you are looking for, a 7' MH power, fast action St. croix avid rod (I am assuming that you want a casting rod) is hard to beat. It's a solid, solid rod.

Fenwick Aetos. 179.99. It also has Lifetime warranty.

Avid or KLX are two of my favorites in that range. There's some father's day sales right now, you could probably get a Dobyns Champion at 20% off too. I like the KLX over the Champion, but all are good rods.

The St. Croix Avid would be a great choice!

We have had several articles written by the Moderators recently on our take

on both Pinnacle and Okuma rod & reels. They offer many options for spinning

and baitcasting gear.

St croix Avid comes to mind and the Dobyns line come to mind. Give Ron a call about the Dobyns, he will surprise you.  :eyebrows:

Nab 2 *** Omens rods. Best bang for the buck out right now, and just plain nice rods.
