Best Ways To Use A Kut Tail Worm?

Featured Replies

Of course I T-Rig these, but they don't really have any action to them at all that way. I've thought of rage rigging them, but not sure how well that would do. What's a good way to use these things?

They have plenty of action Texas rigged??

I used them on a drop shot and it worked pretty good.

Oh, they work... Good to... I have about 60 left...

They are soft like Senko.. Same blend? I think.. Don't need to add weight they cast great without... They just tear easy... You can waky rig them too..

But when these are gone I will use a different bait.

Yeah i've got the Yamamtos and they are soft and not very durable at all. I may try them wacky rigged I guess. They just look so life less compared to the ribbon or u tailed worms I usually use. I thought rage rigging them would be a good idea as they would "wobble" on the way down.

I fish them any way I would a senko

They may not have much action T-rigged but something about the action works. They are one of my top secret baits... :laugh7:

Drop shot, stand up jigs, wacky jig, and split shot rig are a few I use.

I fish them almost exclusively on a shakey head. The bait and rig is probably

my most productive set-up, but I have an issue that sometimes prevents

me from fishing this rig. When the fish are especially aggressive the fish

inhale the bait and are gut-hooked. I always pinch down the barb on the

ShakE2 which helps, but does not always work.

I have heard that the GYCB Kut Tail is the most popular soft plastic in Japan,

above the Senko. Does anyone know if that is true?

X2.  The small Yamamoto's work great on the dropshot

C rig.

My little fishing buddy has been using the 10" on a pumpkin Ed Head for ledge and channel fishing with some success.

Good worms.

What length on shakey heads?  I only have 10" variety and that seems a bit much for a shakey head.
