T-rig all day every day

Under no circumstances would I allow myself to be limited to one or the other for any reason other than one was a better tool for that moment.

A lot will tell you not to limit yourself to only one, and they both have their place and time. As true as that may be, I have very little confidence in a t-rig, and lots in a jig, therefore, for the sake of the argument; jig.

T- RIG ALL DAY.  I catch more fish with the rigs than the jigs, I still try when I fish deep or skip docks.  The fish here seem to like the plastics without fuzz.

Texas Rig: weighted or un- weighted

Only because with a Texas Rig I can throw every piece plastic ever invented!

Yes.  Just two presentations that can produce strikes.

I probably throw jigs under docks more than Texas Rigs, simply because they're easier to skip. While we're talking docks and deep water…the best docks usually intersect deep water or a well defined weed line.

T-Rig.  I can put a 3" tube all the way to a 12" Ol' Monster worm.  T-Rig is very versitile.

Lately the T-rig has been on so I'll go with that.

I guess I would never want to limit myself- but t-rig if I had to.  I can always add a skirt to it

I'll try to use the jigs under docks and out deep, and occasionally near the private boat ramps on many lakes...

If must choose only one, then I choose a different hobby. If your angling for which is better, there is no better, only what works in that specific instance. If you want know what people prefer to use, that's dictated by experience and how/where they fish. Even if there is a clear leader in the poll, it validates nothing, and there is no clear winner. To the guys that picked one, I say start fishing the opposite more. You'll catch more fish in the long using both, and knowing which is the better tool for that situation.

Yea, the only validation in this poll would be that only the small sampling of Folks here prefer it as the one and only choice, I have great confidence in both.... Simply for fun... I chose Trig... I learned soft plastics long before flipping and footballing, casting jigs..

With all of the different types of plastics that can be T-rigged, I'd have to go that route because of the nearly unlimited choices.  When that includes everything from a weightless Senko to a heavy creature bait, it's hard to pick against it.  However, if limited to just ONE style of soft plastic, I'd then go with a jig.  I generally have at least one jig and at least one soft bait on the deck at all time.  Which one I'm using totally depends on the cover, conditions, and fishes moods at the time.  Tom
