Not sure what they did to the outside but mine is peeling already after casting it and I haven't even hooked a fish yet.  $15 is a lot for a lure that is going to lose it's outside coat immediately.  I will stick with Sammys or Balsa Bulls from here forward.

Hmmm, this is the second thread I've seen on this... Might have to wait before I pick some of these up.

Mine has been flawless thus far...only paint flaws are from fish.

And its seen a good amount of use

As long as it floats keep on keepin on.or get a new one and hang it on your wall lol

I've got a few different walking baits with barely any paint left on them that keep catching fish. I don't think color makes nearly as much of a difference as cadence does with that type of bait. If it's bothering you, I'd contact the company about it and see if they'll make it right.
