I'm looking at a 5 foot six ul st croix triumph for Stream trout and small panfish. Does anyone have this rod either for trout or think it would work well for them?

    I have a 6' triumph light that I use for lobbing power bait, I think the rod you're looking at would be a great choice

    I like St.Croix rods but the truimph is not one of them.  IMHO, there are several other rods out there that are much better in that price range.  For example, the St.Croix panfish spinning rods and their Trout series.  The Fenwick HMX is also a nice rod.
