New Color And A Remix!

Had a request for a little different shad color that would hopefully catch the winning fish at BBB at LOZ this past weekend. Unfortunately it didn't but it sounds like "Kicker shad" was a hit with the 2-4 pound fish :)

My crappie color has been a big fish magnet this year for guys around here it seems. It already looks really good, but I decided to improve on it a little more. Not something I'd want to have to make a lot of, but it sure looks pretty  :eyebrows:

I see you are using the "oil slick" color I recommended a while back.

i like that kicker shad clayton!!  the crappie one is cool as well, i don't use that pattern much, but would give it a shot!

Wow thats amazing, very well done

Question though, why the split ring atatched to the blade? I know z-man and the other companies dont use this and the vibration is amazing.

My friend made me a custom one like yours with the split ring and I felt less vibration then just atatching it to the eye

Zman has the copyright to the blades attached to the eye as far as I'm aware, along with the coffin shaped blade. If you don't alter the blade, you're right, it won't vibrate as much. If you manipulate the blade correctly you can actually get as much if not more vibration. Plus if you know how to do it correctly you can make them so they kick out randomly, much like the hunting action that is so popular with crankbaits.

Thanks again for the "kicker shad". Couldn't have came out better if i would have done it myself! I'll be having you make me more of these for sure! Had a lot of heads turn and questions asked about them at weigh in, the condo and marina.

Yes and I really appreciate the suggestion. It's a great color to mix in for a little flash or to stand alone for a flashy, baitfish color.
