Hey guys I was looking at swimbiats for under $20 &

I found some but I don't know what to get? I was looking at some osprey line thrus but wanted your preference?

you talking about soft or hard swimbaits?

and what size or weight are you looking for?

Mostly soft 4 to6in.

Hudd's my favorite soft swimbait. I use the 6in. and the 68 ROF 5. Reflexion swimbaits are also a swimbait I use that matches up with a more traditional rod and reel setup

All this except I never liked the matt lures.

Decoy hydra tail, savage gear 3d and they now come in diff ROF.

Also don't sleep on some hard baits. A s-waver 168 is like $15 and can be thrown on regular gear and flat out catches them.

I've caught some on Reaction Strike Bass assassin swimbaits, and they'll run for way under your budget.

Overstock bait has them for really cheap.

I would never try to point you in the wrong direction. The decoy and savage are outrageously cheap for what you get. Decoys sink very very slow so sometimes I take a sinker with a split ring and hook it to the belly ring so it sinks faster. It will also still fall level this way and that can be very important. Same things goes for top hook Hudds to increase the ROF. It is way easier then screwing with nail weights. Those I only really use to make a Hudd run true when it wants to swim on its side. Weedless Hudds have a hole on the bottom that you can stuff split shots or whatever you like inside to make it fall faster and with the correct amount and depending on where you move them to inside the body can make them fall level like the normal Hudds instead of nose dive. Just another little tip for ya.

Check out Dynamiclures.com if you want some 7" - 8" swimbaits. The dynamos have terrific action for the price and when twitched will do a 180. The FX fury softbait is a line thru swimmer that flat catches them too. All lures well under $20.

Savage Gear swimbaits, review on the top of this forum is a line thru design around $20 price point.

Have not fished Savage Gear so can't commit.

Savage Gear line through, Decoy Hydratail, Optimum Line Through, Mattlures tournament series. Haven't found a hard bait that I really like for under $20. Trying to like the S waver but it just isn't producing for me like I'd hoped, same for the Sebile Magic Swimmer.
