how often do yall recommend changing mono line? I don't fish saltwater but I do fish around stumps,trees,etc.i use stren original 14lb.been using it since july or august.it looks a little"kinky"&has a rough spot in it but I can get paranoid&i'm very OCD.Lol.been thinking 'bout trying hi-seas grand slam when its time to change.       thanks.

I change mono line out about once a month on the few rods I use it on. 

"As Needed" and yours needs a change.

It's safe to say mono needs changed out more often than any other line out there.
