The question's in the title.  My favorite is a 4 1/2" Upton's Reaper drug slowly on the bottom on a shakeyhead with as light of line as I can get away with.  What's yours?

Senko worked slowly. Bass don't seem to recognize and shy away from those like they would a noisy crankbait.

For me, it's all about technique and that almost always translates into something different than what the majority of guys are using. On my home waters spinnerbaits, senkos, and  jigs are the baits of choice. I opt for a swim jig, Fluke and creature baits. On another lake I frequent, cranks and worms are the norm.  I'm tossing swimbaits and jigs. I'm targeting the same areas with similar style presentations, but I'm using baits that are different.  If I haven't a clue what the locals are using, a Senko or Fluke are where I start.

Big swimbaits because no one throws them here      . There is a highly pressured place I fish that in the summer, you can't catch anything over 2lbs no matter how finesse you go, 4lb fluoro drop shotting a 4" finesse worm would probably spook them, you can see schools of 3-6lb fish (I have seen one or two in the 7-8lb class) cruising around, toss a senko way out in front of them and they do a 180 like the senko will kill them if they swim closer. But go fish a big ol' wakebait early in the morning and it's like every single big fish in there hasn't seen food in the past week!

having just one favorite technique for a this scenario,  i can't do that. i have to have 5 rods tied on. 

 

but to answer your question.  i'd go with pitching silently a missle bait dbomb texas rigged with a 3/8 tungsten weight on a roboworm 5/0 straight shank hook, or a megabass pop x , or a wave worm carolina rigged, or a crankbait, or a drop shot.  see too many to nail jut onee

Senko's or the Havoc Flat Dawg's

Use the lures you have the most confidence in, but downsize, use very natural colours, and fish slowly and thoroughly.

Fluke or senko.

Jig, fluke, or a senko.  One of those three usually always works for me.
