What's Your Biggest Bass On A Frog?

Featured Replies

My biggest bass I have caught on a frog is only 2 3/4 lbs but i haven't had any good frog gear until recently. I caught it on a KVD Sexy Frog walking the dog through scattered pads near a dock. So what is the biggest bass you caught on a frog? What frog was it? What type of cover? Any pics?

Uhhh, imagine what this kid will be doing in ten years.....

Biggest one is the one in my avatar that I would estimte between 5-6lbs. Haven't come close to getting another like that but consistently get fish between 1.5 to 3lbs on a Booyah Pad Crasher Jr.

My biggest bass on a top water frog was just shy of 7lbs. I caught it using a white booyah pond crasher. It was a tad bigger than my avatar pic. That bass was also caught on frog. I used a Live Target to catch that 6.5 lbs fish.

My PB on a frog is just shy of 5 lbs. The smaller of these two was caught about an hour and a half later and was mid 4's. Both were on a Booyah Pad Crasher in Swamp Frog color. Bigger one came off the edge of a section of pads and the smaller one came in the middle of a pad field. Frogs have produced many fish in the 3 1/2 lb range for me.

I am not sure what my biggest frog fish has been, but I have caught hundreds of bass between 4-6 lbs on frogs over the past 3 years(since i started using them). I don't think any of them has been over 6 lbs though. Most of my bigger bass come on the KVD frog black and yellow...
