During cold water periods I'll switch from worms to craws & as pre-spawn approaches I'll start throwing a lizard more.

Zoom Trick worm or magnum finesse worm. On a shakyhead though, not a T rig.

Our water is hard in the winter, but if I a worm fishing in cold water (early spring after ice out, or in the fall before I quit) it will usually be with a straight tail worm on a shaky head.

In winter, I'm usually throwing a dropshot or shakeyhead with roboworms.

Well ... Then straight tail worm on a shaky head it is !
