Can't say as a kid I had any clue what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. At 45 it has come full circle.

Spaceman was not an option after high school.

Air Force pilot and/or Astronaut.  With my eyesight at the time it was a definite NO.  Ended up working on them (indirectly) when I worked for Lockheed Martin earlier on in my career.

also, would say that the work landscape has changed drastically since i was a kid (not that long ago).  In elementary school, i remember word per minute programs, floppy disks and the oregon trail were all the rage in the computer world!!!  now, almost every job interacts with a computer in one form or another.  would have been hard to even imagine some of the jobs that people get paid for right now!

Sheesh, when I was young, the Oregon trail was what I used to get my furs to the trading post.

I want to be a firefighter or science/math teacher. Teacher would be nice because of the hours. Plenty of xtra time for fishing with summers off! Firefighter is definitely a cooler job though..

Growing up i always wanted to become a mechanic, now i am an RN. Cant say i am even close lol.
