Breaking In A New Rod & New Pb! In December?

Featured Replies

I don't remember how big my Avatar was, do you remember? I was thinking 6.0? Anyhow as big as my avatar looked I wish you would have taken a pic like that of this fish.

5.8 and I thought Blues is 8.8 on a crankbait at Lacyne

Congrats on that hog! That fish is closer to a state record than most of us will ever catch.

That is a slauncher, to use the big-fish vocab. Great fish!

I thought you avatar was 8.8?

PS that farm pond/strip pit deal is BS!!

Nope, she was 8.01 the first time I put her on the scale, then 7.76 when I put her on the scale to take a picture. I caught one in January that same year that was 24.5" long from the warm water, but she was only 14" around and still went 7.51.

I don't really agree with the private body of water records but then again if I had a pit and caught a 12 out of it I'd probably feel differently :)
