Wow!  That's a heavy sack of Spots!  

 

I have only caught one in my life and it was probably a pound at best.   I wish I could fish them again some day.

Impressive!

My biggest spot would be just shy of 4 pounds, caught on lake norman.  my good buddy caught one that was closer to 5.  aside from that it's 1 and 2 pounders all day.  i couldn't imagine fighting a 9lb spot!
