Honestly, I can't really tell that much about your lure by the photo.  Do you have a better quality pic?

Ya pretty much the same, The colors look more like saltwater colors, I don't know if thats what you were going for.  The trick to fly tying is hiding the thread you used to tie the feathers to the hook and I can't tell from the picture.

From the pics, it looks like you got some skills on the fly-tying bench.  I'm a closet fly fisherman so I'm always up to looking at fly patterns.  Nice work. :D

From what I can tell, look pretty good.  My first flies were butt-ugly.  Had no idea what I was doing or how to do it.  Used some of my wifes cross stitch thread, amnesia thread and attempted to make nymph-like flies just wrapping around a hook.  Guess what - they caught fish - and that's what matters (although they fell apart after a few strikes).

Keep it up - you'll only get better.

Looks pretty good, only concerns are short strikes, and covering the eye of the hook. U have alot of material hanging in the back, and u wrapped to far up, u should also bring the material to the back of the eyes it allows for more material and better positioning of the hook on the fly

DR, they look great. Fish catchers for sure.  But I wouldn't call them a 10, you need a spot up there for an 8.  :D

Really? White and chartreuse is probably the best selling spinner bait color there is, and a black back with a white underside is a common crankbait and jerkbait color. I don't know if you have ever tied flies before but when you are tying a #20 Adams, yeah, you'll want as little thread showing as possible, but when you are tying patterns like these, a little bulk in the thread department is common.

I took a second look and I see what you are saying about the thread. The chartreuse one is a little on the bulky side but not so much that it wouldn't catch fish.

Thanks for the feedback.  I can not put up a better picture I was only allowed 150KB so there it is.  I don't know about salt water fishing but I use the colors that I have for BASS.  This was my first time making flies and I kind of thought they turned out pretty good and I was wanting more insight from ppl that have experience. I know they will catch fish and hopefully they will hold up from strikes and hook sets.  I did put finishing glue/product on the thread.  Just wanted some honest opions and any helpful information to better my baits and or tying.  Thanks everyone and keep sending me more information and/or thoughts.......
