CoAnglers
I have never had it happen to me. I guess because I stay around TN and KY. If it did happen to me I think I would just let the guy know that there is no reason to act like he was and ask him if I had offened him in any way. I have managed a lot of ppl and when confortation arises you need to nip it in the butt asap. If he was still a jerk and front seated me I would probably act like I have never casted in my life an keep crossing him up or throwing a double bladed buzz bait......lol. I don't know what I would do never been put in that situation. I always make sure that I present my self as an asset to them.

Best jig head for tying
I have used the barbed jigs for tying flies. I am no pro at it by any means but is doesn't seem to bother me. The only thing I don't like about most jigs is that they come with a small hook (crappie style).

Cost of your fishing trips ???
It cost me at least a c note (100) everytime when you figure everything in that is even if I split the cost with someone else. You figure the gas to and from the lake, the gas and oil on the water, the food and drink you take, launching fees and or yearly pass, fishing lic., insurance on boat, etc. it adds up a lot quicker than what people think. Here is a good idea that I have been doing with my fishing buddies here lately is I have a full tank of gas truck and boat when we head to the lake. When we get back I stop at the gas station and fill everything back up then have them give me half the money. If I can supply the truck and boat they can afford half if not more. Does anyone else have any thoughts on how to recoup some of the cost from fishing partners/buddies? With gas prices the way they are I need all the help I can get.......... >

Job interviews
I have interviewed a bunch. The last two jobs that I have been offered is due to being brutely honest with the person giving the interview. The last person told me that he felt as if I was interviewing him.....That is exactly what I was doing I had several questions he could not answer such as, what is your and the companies strategy for obtaining more market share? This took him by complete surprise and he could not answer so then I proceed to ask other questions this proved to be a very great way for me to get into their heads and stick out from the other canadiates. I would say that if you are not scared and know what you are talking about interview them see if you want to work for them. It always works for me I have been to 10+ interviews and have always been offered the job. Don't sit on your hands and answer yes or no always give a answer then describe your answer in detail......It is always good when you can make your interview run an hour past what they expect, you can see your competetion sitting out in the lobby with a blank stare.........lol

trailer question
Get it weighed at a CAT scale. Get your slip. Go to DMV and tell them that the trailer you want a plate for is a "shop built" trailer. This will get you around all of the paperwork/hassle. They might want to know how many axles and how much they are rated for be sure you kind of have an idea of what it is. This is a common techinque for any kind of trailer that has no id plate such as homemade trailers.........

Tell me the truth.....
Thanks for the feedback. I can not put up a better picture I was only allowed 150KB so there it is. I don't know about salt water fishing but I use the colors that I have for BASS. This was my first time making flies and I kind of thought they turned out pretty good and I was wanting more insight from ppl that have experience. I know they will catch fish and hopefully they will hold up from strikes and hook sets. I did put finishing glue/product on the thread. Just wanted some honest opions and any helpful information to better my baits and or tying. Thanks everyone and keep sending me more information and/or thoughts.......

Spoon Technique
When you time your spoon dropping down what is a general rule of counting to get your depth???? Is one one-thousand 10ft.? Does weight have a huge impact on timing? Can someone post a good general rule of thumb here as on timing for depth?

The most important feature when locating bass?
Okay, say you found something that worked. Say, you just pulled up on a rocky point with stumps,10 ft. deep dropping off into 30 ft. of water. You crush em' right there on top of the point. Now you need to find another spot. 10 ft. being the depth the fish were caught 30 ft. being the deepest nearby depth The point being the structure The stumps being the cover The rocks being bottom contour Which feature would be most critical to duplicate from the spot you found? Looks like you have them in order maybe flip-flop the bottom two In what I would look for. Main thing is that the fish are there.
