Bass Pro And A St Croix Premir

Featured Replies

I don't have the receipt but I have the tag. There's nothing wrong with the rod. What do you think the chances are of returning it?

Not good.

What precentage?

Possible you could exchange it or get the lowest price it has had in the last 30days. or if you used your BPS membership card or rewards card they can look it up with that and give you a new receipt.

When did you buy this rod?

People at bass pro are generally pretty helpful with stuff like that, but it depends. Did you just grab it off the rack and check out up front? I would try to get to know people in the fishing section. They can help you out a lot in times like this along with anything else related to fishing.

also, they should be able to look it up if purchased with a credit card.

It's been my experience when I forgot a receipt they would refund their lowest sale price for the item and give in gift card/store credit. Never had a problem from Walmart to Cabelas.

Having worked at BPS, I can tell you that your chances are very good. They have a liberal return policy. Also if you have their rewards card, there will be a record of your purchase and price paid. And if you are merely switching it for another rod, I don't see you having a problem at all.
