A Fresh Sliming

Featured Replies

It's a good feeling to come across guys in a boat and ask how they are doing and have them respond with the "no luck so far" answer. Not that I want to hear about other's misfortunes but because it told me that I wasn't the only one struggling. We exchanged pleasantries and went our separate ways. In our chit chat the guy in the front of the boat said he came across someone who had limited out worm fishing. Not the way I really wanted to fish but I wanted to put some over the gunwales. Earlier in the morning I had tossed around a big stick bait and a lizard but neither did the trick so I was only hopeful a worm would work. I only had 12" PowerWorms with me and I wasn't sure they would work so I decided to try biting the legs off a lizard to see what would happen. HAHA. It worked! I'm only half as dumb as the fish I pursue! Not the proper sliming I was wanting to give her but at least she's smelly and dirty now. Just the way she's meant to be.

That's a nice looking area you're fishing. Wish it was warm enough here to fish in a T shirt! or less than 4 layers of cloths  :cry4:

Thanks fellas.

The weather here is getting ready to take a bit of a down turn and get cold and rainy. That's enough to keep me off the water. Winter sucks.

The weather took a downfall here too, just cold though. I believe it was 22* below zero and with wind chill they were saying real feel was more like 30 to 35 below. That's enough to keep me off the water too haha

Just cold hmmm. I believe I would have a little more than just cold to say about -22*. @##$%^& Winter!

Yup, Wisguide, -30-40 wind chill here tonight and I still have to take out the garbage. Lets hook up on PM some day and BS. Later.

I definitely could say a lot more about it but I didn't think anyone here would want to read my rant about it haha.
