I don't fish with anyone in my area, and anything I've learned has been through BR, so I was hoping to get some thoughts on my setups, and see if they could be tweaked, used for something different, or if i'm in the ball park here. None of this is really high end stuff, and all this generally falls within my budget, so suggesting I buy a $300 might not help. But I'd like to feed the bait monkey some time soon, maybe with a new addition of a Rod / Reel.

Paired with a Lew's TS1HL Speed Spool 6:3 <----I actually don't like this reel. It performs ok, but if you look at the paint wrong it flakes off. (i baby my stuff, so it's not like i'm abusing it)

You've got all the bases covered for all the basic bass fishing presentations. I'd throw the spinner baits with the jig rod though. Some guys like the Mod action for spinners but I don't. If you want to add a technique specific setups where to start depends on the cover in your area. Maybe a heavy flipping/ punch rig or a Frog Rod that could do double duty. Another tatula or a Citica / BPS Pro Qualifier are sturdy reels that won't break the bank. Probably a Heavy / Fast (3/4-1oz) rod. 

Good start to me.  I'd second a heavier rod that doubles as a Frog Rod and Pitching/Flipping/Punch.

Sounds pretty good, however I think you might hookup better if you don't use the glass rod for spinnerbaits, of course that's just my opinion.

If you don't fish with anyone from your area, you might want to start.  You can learn as much fishing with different guys as you can off the internet.

You've got a lot more covered there then you think. For example your jig rod could cover trigs including creatures, crigs, swim jigs, chatterbaits, even some top water presentations possibly. Your soft plastics spinning can cover a lot of lighter presentations as well.

I'm missing the finesse-y spinning gear.  I disagree that your spinning rods will be gtg for light stuff.  I find that I can neither throw, nor feel bites well using those rods with weightless senkos, mojo-rigged flukes, etc.  I'd love to have one decent 6'6" M rod and no bigger than 2500 reel over either of those MH's.

I think you may be right I just looked up the specs on the *** spinning rod listed. It's a heavier stick then I thought.
