anyone use this topwater bait? field and stream had a little right up on it in this months issue. expensiv little dude but im wanting to try some new stuff this year ill probably pick up one

I got one back in the fall. The water was much too cold for a topwater bite to be effective whenever I got mine (I live in PA), but I threw it just to see what the action was all about. I must say, even though I wasn't able to get any bites, I see no reason why this lure won't be very effective once the water temperature is right. 

For a quick overview of a the bait, It seems pretty well built, I bought one and I'm waiting to test it out as well.

Got a few late in the season and was impressed with the action of this bait.....Look forward to fishing it this upcoming season.

I got a larger version of the Pompadour that was meant for muskies. But I see no reason why a 6 lb+ bass wouldn't hit it. I'll let you know how I do once the ice melts.

Anyone caught a fish one one of these and what state ?
