I'm going to be making some 3/4 oz football jigs and I want these to be big and bulky. I'll be using silicon skirt layers and I was wondering about how many strands I could fit under a collar safely? I know if I tied them I could fit more but I like to be able to switch between skirt colors and plastic grubs and things. Thanks guys

I've had decent luck with up to 4 pads ( about 80 strands) and a rubber collar. the biggest problem I had was the skirt slipping past the collar on the bait. typically I use 3 pads ( around 60 strands) for all the jigs I make and they seem to work best.
