Swim Baits

Featured Replies

Are the Castaic Baby Bass swim baits any good? I see a lot of guys using them but I don't know if they are catching anything. Thanks.

There are better options out there.

Hudds or 316 Rising Son would be a better choice for baits around the 6" mark.

I saw this biwaa seven on TW, it looked pretty sick. Anyone have any experience?

I have the Catch 22 which is similar to the baby bass.  It's decent, but if I could do it over again I would have gone for some Big Hammers, or Trash Fish.

The casitac would not be my first choice. Thre are some pretty good baits in that size range. Some have been mentioned. I would add the Rago bvd, osprey and mission fish.

The savage gear 6" would be another viable option that I'd have a ton more confidence in than the castaic.

Savage Gear makes a great baby bass imitator and is also very affordable.
