Like bassin said, they're rated for the weight of your hull so they should be just fine to use on there. Probably considerably easier to install as well.

I called Power Pole and they told me it would be fine with my Pro 17 w/a 60/40 Merc. Jet. If you go with 2, they recommended a front/back setup, due to the flex of the poles. Brian.

I know this is a little old but I got the same answer from micro pole too, but on the video they show a basstracker with only one and it seems to do fine ???

With the design of this, I can see plenty of backlashes with the way the spike sticks up until deployed for the poor guy in the back. Otherwise looks fine.

You can remove the spike entirely though when not in use. Not handy when you're going up and down with them all the time, but it's a nice feature when fishing out deeper or not using them often.
