I was wondering if anybody knew what topwater hard baits and buzzbaits Ish Monroe uses? Thanks!

 

Also, does anybody know any other professionals who fish frogs a lot? I've only ever seen Ish.

River2Sea hard baits, spinnerbaits, buzz baits, tungsten. He uses Snag Proof frogs with his own name sake.

Dean rojas is the best known frogger. Others are Fred Rombanis, Steve Kennedy, Skeet Reese, Shaw Grigsby, the Lane Brothers.

The river2sea wa. He has a video using that frog on the delta at least.

As said before I'm sure he uses R2S baits like the biggie Squarebill and bling spinnerbaits....snag proof frogs...Ish's phat frog and the popping phat frog. He'll be the first one to tell yA he's a big fish fisherman and kinda whines about it like in MLF when everyone was eating his lunch and he couldn't catch frog fish or flipping a middle d bomb

Ish IMO is a lot of talk but not much walk. There's a difference is being confident and cocky and he's just cocky for no apparent reason. I wish Keith Poche would have slugged him when he jumped on his boat and pushed him off the boat....in the lock! Sorry for the rant but think ish is a good fisherman but not great compared to the rest of the FLW and elite guys and just looks and sounds like a dumb arse most of the time. I'm off my soap box!

I understand you don't care for his talk but he's got to promote himself and his sponsers and compete, there are others just like him in the circuit Swindle, Ike, and many others. I like him and it was a shame what happened between those two guys, it's no room for that in bass fishing..

Who's Ish Monroe?

A d**n good fisherman who doesn't like getting run over by another boat - just fished with a pro in Florida who said Ish got the wrong end of that deal - he wasn't at fault in the accident but could have kept his temper under control better.

I like the phat frog and poppin' phattie the best out of any frogs I've thrown. They will not fill with water due to the design.

Oh, I like him fine. He's on my roster for the Sabine river and I don't pick guys I don't like. I wouldn't mind if he was a leeetle less cocky and cut the "ya knows" out of his vocabulary.

I like Ish myself.  I could definitely do with a little less smack talk but anyone who can weigh in a 4 day total of 108 lbs and 5 oz in a Bassmaster elite series tournament can obviously fish a little. I also love his Snagproof frogs and they are probably my favorite frog I've ever used. Great hookup ratio and they almost never fill up with water.
