They Were Biting Today Boys!!!

Featured Replies

Got smoked today by mosquitoes, flies, and a centipede.  How does a centipede end up in a kayak anyway?  Didn't catch anything, but it was nice being outside (I guess).

Seems like the bite is slow to warm up...I am pretty much out of the game with a bad leg break. My buddies have said the bite is slow in most of the areas here in KY.

I feel your pain, I got eaten alive the other night by mosquitoes. Didn't think they would come out this early and left the bug spray at home. Should have known better as everything is early this year where I am...

Yeah, one thing not to love about spring. Mosquitos are my worst fishing enemy.

Getting bitten by bugs is another signal that spring and better fishing are on the way! I actually get excited when I start seeing Mosquitos and such

I've had some very strange creatures end up in my boat/kayaks. They lie in wait on low hanging branches, and when you go past...jump on in for a free ride.

Im always amazed at the amount of spiders that will make webs between rods.

Yep, you and me both...surgery helped me a ton, but recovery is going to be slow.

Thanks for the chuckle. I do hope your next outting the fish are biting and not the bugs.
