The "eyes" have it

Featured Replies

where to for eyes guys?  Looking for lrg, glass or solid plastic preferably, nothing hollow.

I have access to the sourcing dept. at a jewelry design house and I have some sick ones on some of these proto types but I like the "cat" looking ones on a slammer also.

Where to?

Thanks in advance

You can find a few styles of doll eyes at a hobby lobby or mj designs type of store.  I use doll eyes in some of the flies I tie.  Lots of styles and sizes available.

Your an excellent resource dude.  Thanks.  The only eyes I ever used for tying were dumbbells.

I looked at A.C. Moore, a craft store, they only had the hollow stick ons that have the eyeball that is separate and bounces all over the inside.  Not gonna do it.

Hobbytown, next stop. ;)

Any others? anything online?

Russ, contact Matt at Mattlures.

He sent me some eyes for a bluegill that was having issues.

Not sure where he gets them, but if you can wait (and I remember) I will bring some with me next month.

That's what I remembered at lunch time and was coming back to post.  He might even be able to get you a couple different sizes.

Try WASCO (wildlife artist supply).
