The ice is almost gone. I like to get out and check my equipment now before the bite starts just to check it in the daylight. Once I start night fishing I have no time for pit stops or stoppages. Does anyone else do it?

honestly, i'd say most appropriate verb for what i'm usually doing in the garage .... with the fishing equipment.....

i tell the wife i'm going to the garage and there's usually a sigh or eye roll, but she reads her book i fondle said fishing equipment....

I always prepare before the season begins. I even go through my maps and plan stops to fish for the entire season. i have no idea if it helps lol maybe it does help just to be more familiar with my bodies of water. I usually throw out the plans rather quickly once I am on the water.

My team tried to trade me and Ryan Howard in the pre-season him because they say he can't hit me for diddling around with my equipment too much. They couldn't get rid of either of us so we both plan on having a banner year! It's time to show all those fat bottomed girls all I've learned diddling by myself the entire pre- season! Game on!
