H2O Express Academy Sports And Outdoors Brand

Featured Replies

Hey guy a few new Academy Sports and Outdoors just opened up in my area and I was just wondering if anyone had tried the Academy brand called H20 Express. They make hardbaits, spinnerbaits, frogs, and a variety of hooks, I haven't seen any soft plastics at my store don't know if they make any at all. I picked up a jerk bait and a squarebill just to see how they fish. They are pretty cheap and just wondering if anyone else had fished them?

I have used their H2O hard baits, rods, frogs, and other items.  All are of good quality.  I like their rods and Academy will refund/exchange any that break with no questions asked.

I have only fished some of their crankbaits and a topwater bait but I have been very happy with those baits. Their pistol minnow is one of my favorite topwater baits I have used.

You will not find a better $4 crankbait anywhere.  I don't like all the H20 stuff but the hardbaits are excellent.

I have some of their baits and 3 of the Ethos Rods(1 spinning, 2 casting)  Actually nice rods as I've had mine for 3+ years.

I have used most all their hard baits along with their frogs, a few reels, and several rods, all have performed as good or better than I'd hoped.
