Anyone use this stuff?

A local discount store has 330 yard spools for $3.99. I grabbed 1 spool but not sure when I'll try it out. Need to know if it's worth stocking up on. They also have Sufix Fuse for $5.99.

I bought a spool to try out but havn't got to it yet. If you try it out please post a review and when I get to it I will post mine.

It's going to be a while for me before I use it. I have 1,800 yards of Yo-Zuri on the way.

I got a few spools of this at a discount/closeout store called Ollie's.  I got clear and green in 10#, 12#, and 14#.  I put the 12# test on one reel, and so far I am pretty happy with it.  No breaks, line memory isn't so bad that KVD L&L needs to be soaked into it, and I've had no issues with abrasion.

 

For the price it's a decent line, but it won't be replacing my Yo-Zuri or Izorline.

My thoughts when I bought the line was that I was saving so much money on the $1.99 packs of Zoom that even if it was the worst line ever I was still going to come out way ahead on my savings.  I think I've picked up close to 50 bags of Zoom stuff from 2 different Ollie's stores.

I only have one close to me, and though they have some Zoom stuff it's not much. I was able to find 2 bags of ultra vibe worms. They were black/blue at that. Not a top color for me.

A lot of guys use the line for steelheading during the winter up here because it repels water well. I have never used it though, so I can't comment.

I used it a couple years ago to spool a new reel I bought on a fishing trip. I won't replace my Sunline with it, but for that price it's a decent line.

Promix at the regular price I would rather take Sunline Supernatural, but for the $3.99 a spool I'd rather have Promix than Siege.
