Crankin' On Chickamauga Lake...

Featured Replies

Lipless crankbaits worked well on a very windy Thursday afternoon on Chickamauga Lake. I got 4 bass in the boat...but lost 3. I caught 4 different species including a scrappy little smallmouth. I used a plastic worm and swim jig for a short time but the lipless crankbait seemed to be the best pattern in the wind. I'm not in a "groove" with the big bass yet as I've spent a little too much time crappie fishing. Water temperature was 68 degrees with some fish as shallow as 3 feet - it's spawning time. A fun afternoon with some good action. Pics are thumbnail size for some reason ??? I know the fish weren't that small - haha. Just have to click the pics to enlarge.
