Hey guys, new member here from so cal. So I've been fishing since I was a kid. Me and my dad used to go out all the time. I got out of it when I started college. And we'll it's time to start back up again. Went out bought a Daiwa laguna and a bass pro shop rod, nice cheap combo and it works great. Got a decent amount of tackle started off. And looking at getting a bass boat in the near future. I'll be posting another thread soon asking for some pointers on a good starter boat, something that works great but also something I won't really need to upgrade up from soon. look forward to sharing some cool stories with yall soon.

What are some good lakes here in socal to go fishing at? I've been to DVL 3 times now been skunked all 3 times.. I catch trout and stripper but their large mouth bass just have me stumped. Lol. Any other good lakes out there?
