D2T??

Featured Replies

I am having a hell of time finding D2T---does anybody use anything else to attach the weedguards to their jigheads.

any good 2 part epoxy will work.  It doesnt have to be devcon.

I hear super glue gel works but I dont use it.

If you have a hobby store near you they often have a rebranded product made by bob smith plastics. works great. so does envirotex lite, which i get at my local Ace.

you can't even find D2T at walmart?

thats where i get it. its 1.97 at walmart, compared to 3 or 4 bucks at hardware stores.

No luck at Wal-Mart---went to three of them in my area.  I heard on another site that Wal-Mart is going to stop selling the Devcon brand, so I assume this has already taken place here.  So DSAAVEDRA, if you can still get it, I would stock up!!!

All I could find was Loctite products---would these work??

Wal-Mart is not going to carry it anymore. I bought the last 10 tubes by my store. I use Loc-Tite gel super glue, to glue in my weedguards. It has a tendency to wick up, and when it dries, it leaves a white chalky residue. But you can take an old toothbrush, and just brush it out.

Devcon at Wal-Mart is being replaced by Permatex. Devcon and Permatex are products of ITW. Click on this link, and if you put your zipcode in the upper right corner, it will tell you who carries it in your neighborhood.........Hope this helps. http://devcon.com/products/products.cfm?brandid=1

That is what I use too.

Loc-tite is the epoxy that Wal-marts around here are stocking now.

Same with Lowe's and Home Depot.   There is not a local retailer in Central Ark. that carries Devcon epoxy.
